Iphone 3g or Google Android (htc)?

I'm planing on getting a a new phone, so I've been saving up my allowance and summer jobs paychecks for a long time. I'm trying to decide which I'm gonna get. The Iphone 4g didn't get extremly good reviews...so I narrowed it down to those two ^^.
Which would you get? Most of my friends have the Iphone 3g...so I like the Android because less have it. The Android has less Apps (or I just have trouble finding them) than the Ipone.

Android. Because android is the most customizable OS + it has true multitasking not tht bullshit one on the iphone. everyone that has an iPhone just has one because its an iPhone.
