iPhone 3G - Pro's & Con's?

I've been thinking about getting an iPhone for a while now, and i was just wondering if anyone, Maybe if you have one, Could give me Some Pro's and Con's on the iPhone 3G, should i get 8 or 16 GB? and Would you suggest it to someone?
