iPhone 4 phone/contacts app keeps crashing. Help?

Whenever I try to open the contacts or phone app, it keeps crashing and goes back to the springboard. I did everything from turning the phone off and hard reset. It still does the same thing. My phone is running on iOS 5.0.1 and it is jailbroken unlocked with Gevey Sim.

try to restore the device back to factory settings ,
then if the problem still persists then contact the responsible authorities .
