Ok, so here's the story. I ordered my iPhone 4S last week and the package was suppose to come Monday. I arrive home from school that Monday excited for my new phone. To my disappointment, it had not arrived. So I check the status of the package with UPS and it said that it was delivered and left on my porch. Now I scour the perimeter of my house trying to find out if he left it somewhere to no avail. Now, I live in bad neighborhood but I've never had any package jacked from my front porch in the middle of the day. Anyways,I call Sprint and they tell me their going to send a new one tomorrow for free and that they would deactivate the iPhone. So I was like "Ok cool". Tuesday I call in sick and stay home so I can personally except the package. I get it, activate it, phone is awesome, everything is cool until today. Today I'm sitting in my room when my dad knocks on my door and tells me if I was waiting on a package, I tell him yes ( I had ordered a case for my phone but wasn't expecting it until two weeks from now). He tells me the next door neighbor dropped by to return a package that they left at his house on Tuesday under my name. I immediately knew what it was. Anyways, to make a long story short, I now have two iPhones and am wondering if the original iPhone I thought was stolen is safe to use. I know I can't activate it at Sprint but can I use it as a really nice iPod. I haven't even turned it on yet, in fear of the GPS capabilities of the phone Lol. Please don't say to return it because I'm not. If it's not safe to use then I'll just keep it as parts in case I break my activated one. Thank you for the help.
