iphone Apps to help my hands feel?

My mom is getting surgery on her spinal cord, because she no longer has feeling in her hands and fingers. So it's hard for her to feel what she's touching, picking up, typing, etc... This surgery is supposed to help her gain feeling back, so i'm buying her an ipad, but i'm looking for some apps that can help her feel or at least realize shes touching things on the ipad to help her get practice and learn.
Can anyone give me some app ideas that i can download for her?
