iPhone earphones dont fit in the jack?

This morning i wanted to listen to some music, so i put my earphones in my iphone. To my supprise they didn't fit in. Theres was no satisfying click, they come out super easy and the audio sounds dim and horrible.
There is no flint stuck in the jack according to my observations.
I've looked all over the internet but no luck.
 
Just push a little harder and you'll hear that satisfying click. Sometimes when we are afraid that pushing it harder may damage the phone we don't push hard enough. Just try again or take them to an apple store.
