Alrighty,
I have an iPhone 4 which has a video calling feature via FaceTime. I tried to make a facetime call on the go however my phone told me that I need to be connected to a WiFi network to do it.
Then I looked around online and found that facetime will use 3MB of data per minute (found that on gizmodo).
So I'm confused. If it requires WiFi to operate, wouldn't it use data over WiFi rather than my data plan?
That's the first question, here the second one.
Since it requires WiFi to use the video feature, what about voice? Is that deducted from my voice plan or is that sent over data. And if it is sent over data, is the data from a WiFi network or from my carriers 3G network?
Please advise...
