I have a 16gb iPhone OS 3.1.2 jailbroken with blackra1n.
I got an error message this morning telling me I was out of memory and to please delete some photos/videos even though I was pretty sure I had about 2gb free space
I checked (settings>general>about) and it said I have 0bytes of memory available
I straight away plugged my iphone into the pc to find there was 3.2gb of 'other' space in use
Now, after searching a load of forums for the past hour the only proper solution seems to be to restore via itunes
Obviously this is less than ideal with a jailbroken iphone as restoring will remove the jailbreak and update it to 3.1.3 (an as yet unjailbreakable os)
The other solution would be to use an app like ifile to delete the files manually but there's nothing i can find that I can delete as my music library and videos/photos are still intact
Any ideas how to reclaim the space?
Thanks in advance
