Ipod/iPhone help please!?

I had an iPod touch with like 30$ in apps. It got into some water and broke. I soon bought an iPhone 3G and I try logging into my account to get my apps back and it won't let me it says I have to buy it again. Any tips/suggestions please and thank you

You may have to buy them again since you have a new account put the phone under the same account

Did u back it up on a computer. If so you could sync your iPhone to the computer and put the apps on that way.
