iPod Touch 4th Gen 8gb Or Nintendo 3DS?

Hi, Im looking to buy a new games console/music player. I've narrowed it down to these two, the 4g 8gb or the 3ds. Suggestions & Thoughts Would Be Greatly Appreciated! In Need Of Serious Help!
I'm 14 and am currently the owner of a faulty 3rd gen 8gb iPod Touch And a DS Lite (Both currently on eBay)
 
I'd say iPod Touch over Nintendo 3DS. I mean it depends how old you are. Would you rather carry around a 3DS or an iPod touch? Personally I'd carry around an iPod Touch.
 
But even if you have got an ipod i suggest upgrading to an Ipod Touch 4th Gen rather than Nintendo 3DS.
I know the 3DS looks cool but they will keep updating the DS, i know they do with ipod's but Ds's are basically all the same.
Also you might struggle to find games you like for the 3DS because its only recently come out and the games will probably be expensive.
