Is 16 gb enough space for the iphone 4g?

im currently looking to buy an iphone 4 for verizon. i have the money to buy a 32 gb iphone but im looking to spend less. is it more worth it to have extra space and spend $100 more?
also my concern is if the 16 gig will be able to hold 600 plus songs, contacts, photos, videos, and some apps. i know an itouch is able to hold that amount of data but im not sure about the iphone.
also if you currently own an iphone 4g for verizon or at&t your opinoins and comments on it would be greatly appreciated. thanks!
 
Sixteen gigs sounds like plenty, but at the end of the day, you're going to wish you had more. You're paying an extra $30.00 EVERY month for data, right? In my opinion, you might as well take advantage of the unlimited data (or whatever plan you have) and get the 32 gig. You'll be doubling your memory for about the price of three months of data. Sounds like a deal!
