If it is too good to be true, chances are it is...
The old saying is usually right. If you see a $10,000 car on sale for $1, you are either a fool or one lucky bastard. Most of the time, it is the former.
Acura are expensive cars. They are the high-end of Honda. Repairs and maintenances are expensive, too. A typical repair job can easily run in $600 to $1,500.
I say it is too good of a deal...so something MUST be wrong with it. For $2,700, does it even have an engine? Is there doors on the car? Does it explode when you hit pass 50 MPH?
I say take it to a local auto repair shop and ask for a complete evaluation on the car. They will tell you what is wrong with it, what need to be done, how the car is, and what is it worth. If they give you the okay to buy it, then it will ease your conscious. It will cost about $30, but it is a lot cheaper than paying $2,700 for a piece of junk. I highly doubt this is at a car dealership, but you can ask for a carfax if it is.
