Yesterday I received a phone call saying I won a cruise to the Bahamas. I had entered and they drew my name. All I have to do is pay them 70 dollars and they will mail me my tickets. I get the cruise there and back, 4 nights at the Bell Channel hotel, and meals on the cruise. Sounds okay, until today. My boyfriend (Who entered at the same time and place as me) received the same phone call today! The lady told him that her boss must have pulled my name out and his was stuck to it. No way right? I need help. They want our money by Tuesday and we don't know what to do!

I won a few months ago but I have not gone yet. I was really skeptical, I felt the same way, a 5 day vacation in Bahamas for $160? I thought it must be some kind of gimmick. But, I won at a Chinese restaurant I’ve been going to for years. After I looked further into the whole deal, this is why I took the chance; the entry card I filled out did say tax and administration fees not included and that it’s not a Time Share. The hotel Caribbean Divers Scuba Diving and Bell Channel Inn Hotel, Freeport, Port Lucaya, Grand Bahama Island, The Bahamas knew who they are and said they do a lot of business with them, they are members of the CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association), their own website 5th Avenue Vacations - Bell Channel Inn, Bahamas Vacation, Bahamas Vacation Package, Vacation Packages, Caribbean, 4 days 3 nights, 3 days 2 nights, Free vacation, Free Hotel, Free Cruise,Cruise, Cruise Vacation Package, Vacation for 2, Vacation for looks legit and I paid for it with my visa which offers some kind of protection against getting ripped off.

I felt a lot better when I got my tickets, they came with a bunch of brochures and a dvd, I also felt a lot better after seeing the cruise ship and the hotel on the dvd it looks like it could be a fun vacation. I'm planning to go over the Labor Day Holiday, we’ll see what happens :3_3_21[1]:

Hi Everyone,

Today my daughter received a call from 5th Ave Vacations claiming she won this trip to the Bahamas. Her friend "won" this same trip a few weeks back. If you check the BBB website you will find 5th Ave Vacations with no feedback and a listed phone number of 727-456-6060. Here is where it gets good. If you Google the phone number as listed you will find it connects to Bahamas Getaways who also does business as Security Travel all at the same address in FL. Now check the BBB ratings for these and you will find F ratings with numerous complaints. Same phone numbers, same managers, different company names. You can also look up the names at ripoffreport.com.

Hope this helps some of you avoid these crooks
