Is $80 (including sales tax & shipping) too much for a grad dress?

I just picked out my 8th grade graduation dance dress! It was from nordstrom in the junior section. They didnt have it in stock so we had to get it online. The total with sales tax + shipping is $80. Is that too much? :/ It's also my graduation present because I seriously adored that dress and would have bought it with my own money if my parents didn't wanna pay for it. What do you think? How much would you spend?
 
your only in year 8? it seems like a bit much, but if it was a graduaion present aswell and you've already brought it then theres not much you can do about it. i didnt realise you where meant to buy presents for people if theyre only graduating from year 8 though...
