Is a Citroen C3 ideal for a first car?

I'm a 17 year old female searching for my first car. I really like the look of a particular Citroen C3 I stumbled across and most importantly the engine size was 1.1. What do you guys think? Is it an appropriate car for a new driver? Thank you so much in advance for taking the time to answer (:
