I Just got a laptop and my sister recommended I get a cooling pad (a thing with fans that sits under the laptop) to keep it from overheating in the future. I know this helps most laptops, but mine has a vent on the side that pushes out the hot air rather than underneath. Will a cooling pad still help? I have a Sony Vaio, CW series, if that helps.
