Is a great personality really important to you in a relationship?

what if you meet someone that has a beautiful personality and you LOVE being around them but your not physically attracted to them AT ALL... would you still date them, would you really CARE what people think about you??

SERIOUS ANSWERS PLEASE!
 
If the person had a great personality and I loved being around them, heck yes I would date them. The personality is makes me attracted to a person.
People can always change what they look like, but a great personality is hard to come by.
 
problem is, you can develop love for someone, but if you don't find them attractive right away you never will. i'm lucky that i'm not superficial or shallow....i'm thin and fit and my girlfriend is like 100 pounds overweight. so? she's a wonderful person and she's cute and funny and smart....all the stuff that matters...
 
You bet I would date him. No, I don't care what other people think.
 
Yeah, I get that all the time! Great guys aren't always attractive. One of my best friends is a guy and honestly, he is pretty ugly, but when we hang out we have awesome conversations, i don't care what people think when they see the two of us hanging around together because i truly know that he's a great guy and it's what is on the inside that counts. Besides, would you really want to go out with a horrible person just because he was attractive? I wouldn't.
 
i would not want them to be hideous, i don't mind a little unattractive, but if they are super ugly then I wouldn't date them
 
Personality overules looks I would say. You could be with someone REALLY hot, but they are as boring as hell. You have to enjoy being with that person.
