Is a person obligated to tell past and future lovers that they are infected...

...with a serious STD? It seems like telling potential lovers that you are infected with a serious STD would hinder the chances of ever getting laid again.

You would be a huge dick head if you didn't. Plus, I'm pretty sure someone could easily sue, and win, over that.

Well yes. You need to tell them. It would hinder your chances of 'getting laid' but then it's their decision to make.

uh duh... as well it should. Do you think you should pass your shit around to everybody just so you can get some? You should stop getting laid if you have an STD. Plain and simple.

Listen here, Donnie. I'm a firm believe in being 100% truthful. If you're with a partner and she wants to get a little frisky then that's great. The problem is that you have a STD what should you do? Well, in my case, once I start getting in the mood I'm not going to remember to pump the brakes and and have a Q and A session with my soon to be entertainment for the night. If she wants to ask before the bedroom (or car or backyard or garage) scene unfolds then yeah, I'll tell her straight up that I have a STD and she should PROCEED with caution and I'll wear protection and everything will be ok. If she doesn't ask then that's her problem and we'll both have something in common. I'm not here to give clinics on STDs or doctor visits but here to give my woman a good time and by gosh she'll have one hell of a night.

yes they are required under penalty of incarceration. So which would choose a free sexless life or a locked up sexless life?
