Is a Volvo s40, Honda Accord LX, Ford Taurus or a Toyota Camry safer?

Looking for a safe teen car. All 2008 versions except a 2007 volvo. Safety, gas mileage and price are all factors.

Volvo is supposedly one of the safest vehicles on the market. I believe most cars today, have great safety features. As for one being more safe than the other, I'd have to bet on the Volvo and Toyota to be the safest out there.
