Is a VW beetle convenient?

I was just wondering, I really want to buy myself a new car when I am done with college soon and I love VW beetles. I am married but I don't have any kids yet but we do want kids in like 3-4 years. So my big question is, does a vw beetle have enough room in the back seat for a babysit, or even 2?? and like if there is enough room for one will I have to move the passenger seat all the way forward for it to fit? because I heard that rumor before. ( the reason why i am asking about baby seats even though that's not for like 4 years is because i do plan to buy a brandnew car which should last me a good while and before i purchase it i want to make sure it will be conenient for when i do have kids one day)

I am not worried about not having enough room to get to the back. I am not scared of crawling over the front seats because obviously I am aware that it will be a 2 door and dont mind it. Money is also not a problem so I can look into buying one of those babyseats that turns so I can turn the seat towards me.

Oh and what about trunk space???

and does anyone have any other information about the car itself? like is it a good car? my mom has a vw jetta and she said the engines in vw are not so reliable because she had a brandnew car and the transmission went out after a year.

Actually I am grom europe (germany) and am moving there after college so the person that said that european cars are better is great advice since I will be buying a german car
