Anyway:
He seems to be pretty good. Sure, he's out there with Parise and Kovalchuk but Kovie isn't playing up to his ability but he and Parise appear to be doing pretty well.

I think he got this way from the experience of centering Taylor Hall in the juniors. Playing with other really good players at a junior level will definitely benefit one at the pro level.
