Is adult humor in children's films okay? For example Toystory.?
There are some humorous acts in the movies that adults get but children don't. Is it still okay to include some of that humor even though children don't get it?

Examples;
-One of Sid's toys, a fishing rod with Barbie legs, is a hooker.
-During the circus scene, one of the Fly Brothers says to Francis (thinking he's a girl), "Hey, cutie! Wanna pollinate with a real bug?". He may be talking about sex.
- In Aladdin, the genie says "good teenagers take off your clothes."
-When Syndrome discovers that Mr. Incredible married Elastigirl and had kids, he rudely remarks that they "got busy".

What do you think?

Thanks for any opinions.

I agree with 1st answer, they wouldnt understand it but it'd give the adults something to laugh at

Yeah I never noticed those things until I became a teenager. Pretty much everything has innuendo in it these days...especially Spongebob. If little kids don't notice then it's alright.

I think if it's done with discretion it's fine. If it truly does go over the kids' head, I don't have a problem.

The Ice Age movies--the writers there don't get that you can have a male anatomy joke without making it so a 6 year old gets it.

Yes, they wouldn't understand it anyway.
Answer mine too! :)
