The new show on MTV called How's Your News??
I cannot believe that MTV would stoop this low and exploit handicapped ppl like this. Are you kidding me? I have a 5 yr old son with Down Syndrome, and when I caught the first segment of this show all I could think of was him and how they could do this. The show is NOT something that is helping them or doing anything other than give people to laugh at them. I could cry I am so mad right now. I hope to gad that enough people complain and the show gets taken off air asap!! How can I make this a big deal? Where do I start? Am I blowing out of proportion???
 
I didn't know anyone watched MTV anyway. Turn the channel.
 
FIRST.....I think you are letting this get to you. Your personal involvement and heartbreak are making you want to strike back.....not just at them but at the injustice of the whole thing
SECOND......Most people have a sense of right and wrong.....I doubt this stupid program will "be a hit'.....in fact I am sure there were many who responded the same way you did..... no advertiser will want to support that garbage
FINALLY.... There are idiots in this world who have no empathy.....no compassion..... no sensitivity......If you allow them to get you upset and angry every time you bump into one......you are not going to have a very happy life.....

Write a letter to the station.....write a letter to the sponsors..... but do not let it ruin your day.....Every Down Syndrome child I have ever met has been the embodiment of pure simple love..... you will NEVER be needed more or loved more than by your son
