omfg that was intense
i work at a little 60 seat restaurant, and we had the tree lighting ceremony in our town down the street, and the road was closed off. We had about 40 covers on the book, so i went all out and took in everything i could, and we ended up doing 89 covers split between two servers, and our bartender cut his hand open so i had to manage while my boss tended bar, all while i had some old guy bitch about showing up 15 minutes early and not getting his table, while rambling on about why colorado lamb is better than australian. jesus fuck!
OMG I just got home from work, it sucked ass. I work at Cabela's on the overnight shift from 9:30 PM to 6:15 AM, but I came home early tonight because I was extremely sick. :dodgy:
Anyways, if anyone who works in a receiving job you will know how much this sucks. We had 4 trucks total today:
1. 4:00 AM - 60% floor load, 5 wooden pallets.
2. 8:00 PM - 100% floor load.
3. 11:00 PM - 18 wooden pallets.
4. 1:00 AM - 50% floor load, 10 wooden pallets.
OMG it sucked ass and I was only there half the night.
