Is Beethoven "pop" to Mozart's "rock"?

I just recently got into classical and oh boy! It rocks! But then again, I'm partial to Beethoven (so far). I'm looking for Rach and Bach and all those other guys after got some great answers here. Still... I downloaded some piano stuff from Mozart and I didn't like it. I feel stupid that I haven't found a piece of Mozart that I like yet.
Beethoven's idol is Mozart. I love Beethoven's piano pieces yet I can't feel the same for Mozart's. What am I missing?
