Is being on Eharmony ok with God?

People always say "stop looking and you will find someone" but I am confused as to why soooo many people are on Match.com and Eharmony and such places and they meet their match all the time...they were looking right? I have been single for almost 10 years now and I want to find a special someone. I go to the gym, night school and church and have done so for many years and have not met anyone so I thought internet datign might work for me.

Yeah, God douse not make rules to make our lives miserable. He only gives us guidance if we accept it, to make our lives better. Why would he be against talking to other people on a site and looking for someone to spend the rest of your life with? He invented marriage. Try not to focus on finding someone to much. Focus your eyes on God. Get some hobby's so you will have plenty to talk about online. Then when you aren't looking for it, someone will pop up.

Yeeeaaah....ish. e-harmony was started by Christians. But, like all things in cyberspace, be careful to thoroughly investigate the truth behind every statement or identity. That young, handsome, godly man you met over the internet could be a sleazy old sex offender in real life.

So are you suggesting that an omnipotent supreme being who lets people die horrible deaths from diarrhea is going to play match-maker for you?

Eharmony is run by an evangelical.
