This has been bugging me lately. Lots of people seem to think conformation is EVERYTHING to a horse. I am not saying that EVERYONE is doing that, but lots are. Yes, I know lots of problems can be caused by conformation but it isn't everything! Like what about personality? That counts a lot too. Like, I would rather have a nice horse with a good personality with some conformation faults than a really moody horse with perfect conformation. But then again, there is no perfect horse!
But I have seen lots of questions on here and people will just blame it on the horse's conformation(even one person said that without seeing a picture/video of it!!). Like yeah, lots of things of conformation do make problems at times but not always.
Like my mare happens to have a short neck. I don't care if she does, I still love her. There's some people that just look ONLY into a horse's conformation instead of the horse itself.
So your opinions? Is conformation everything?
