is divx a safe website?

I wouldn't really trust Mcafee, it has LOTS of false positives, if it's just divx.com, then yes, its safe, divx is a VERY commonly used website, they have codecs needed for a lot of people to watch videos downloaded to their computer.

As a matter of fact, McAfee SiteAdvisor says it's safe too. Maybe your McAfee program is mistaken or is not updated.

Otherwise, your McAfee is picking up a false-positive. It happens a lot.

I did a whois lookup for this site DivX Video Software | Free Video Software | DivX Format | DivX.com here WhoisXY.com Here i got formatted information. Then i have searched some reviews in Google finally i saw some reviews here Scamadviser.com i got this message "High Trust Rating.This Site Looks Safe To use." and here Webutation.net i got 90% web reputation.With these reviews , I think it is legit only.If you are satisfied with these reviews you can go with them.
