Is FrostWire safe to use?

Okay so since Limewire is no longer working I was thinking about doing alot of research before I download FrostWire, Like can you install music you download there to your lets say 'ipod' Stuff like
that?? And would it slow down your laptop like limewire? Thanks (:
 
p2p is extremely unsafe especially with that new bayTSP anti-piracy program, which means you have a much higher chance of getting caught.
 
no its not safe, its a p2p network so any file you download could actually be a virus. Also its illegal, just like limewire. One of my friends is getting sued for downloading music off p2p networks. if you want to download music relatively safely, google free music downloading sites that use web hosting sites, like music ocean.
