I shattered my tibia 4 months ago and have been non-weight bearing on crutches ever since. So needless to say I've gotten pretty good on them and am still very much active (rock climbing, canoeing, camping, etc) but I'm worried that the cruise will be too big and more of a hassle than fun.
I'm wearing a removable aircast so I will be able to swim. The broken leg part isn't the issue (I got the okay to swim from my doctor), it's really just the mobility, especially off the cruise.*I'm going with my dad and 8 yr old brother so I will have some help and understanding if I need it. I'm going on the Oasis of the Sea, Royal Caribbean cruise. I have another 3 months non weight bearing so I'm mainly going to break up those months a little bit.*
Anyone been on this cruise or one similar? Better yet, on crutches or a wheelchair?
