Is GWS more to you than just arguing about feminism and laughing at trolls?

I'm not going to be on much anymore but I wanted to say some things.

There are a lot of really special, good people here - men and women - and I want to thank all the people I've shared ideas and laughter and kindness with.

I also know sometimes I've been moody and petty and made arguments where I overstated my case and engaged in polemics or worse gotten personal. To all those I may have hurt or offended, I want to apologize. And if you feel I've wrong you, feel free to e-mail me and let me know and I'll try to make amends.

I also want to say that I know the trolling and gossip and attacks are sometimes just part of the "game" and even if I've gotten angry or upset by some of it, I don't hold any grudges. I know it's not really personal and that I provoked some of it, so there's no animosity. Toward ANY of you.

Anyway, I'll still pop on now and then. But I wanted to thank all of you for whatever you bring here to make things interesting.

We can't go now. We've still got some more people here to flame and make an example of. We've got to get to number one on the leader board. I created this sock puppet for to use for that very purpose. Unfortunately you never answer any of our questions so I can boost your best answer percentage. P.S. Take Amelia with you. I've lost use for her. I'm only into men now.

juditha, i wish you would stay around...you are one of the people that make this section unique and interesting.

i come here for entertainment and intellectual stimulation (when there is some to be had!) and yes, to laugh...there Are some great people here and we can't afford to lose any. then all that would be left would be the trolls. they are funny as a seasoning, not the main course.

oh, and yes, your picture is very pretty. : )

It's an odd section, this. Often stupid and/or hilarious, occasionally frightening, every once in a while eye-openingly honest, and once in a blue moon very profound.

I suppose I keep coming back because I never know what I'm going to find. I might be enraged, I might fall over laughing. I know I'm not part of the 'community' as it were, and frankly I'm happy that's the case, but it's just an endlessly fascinating corner of the interwebs.

I like it for:

1. Arguing about feminism
2. Laughing at trolls
3. Destroying my enemies and hearing the lamentations of their women

Good luck with everything and don't forget about swimming!

You pretty much summed it up in your first sentence. What could be more fun than laughing at trolls when you are bored at work? And who in his right mind would think that I am serious about any of this in light of my screen name and my avatar?

But I occasionally give someone what I consider to be good advice; in other words, I got to share my wisdom with someone who actually needed, and wanted, to hear it. And that makes it all seem worthwhile.
