I know, another one of these dreaded questions. Still, I'd really appreciate the help.
A few months ago, I met this guy through school. We never hung out except for events help by the group we're both a part of. I knew right away that he was a "nice guy"...during one trip, we chatted a little bit, he let me borrow his iPod to listen to, and he even lent me his jacket when I was cold (I declined at first, but he insisted). Clearly a gentleman.
Last week though, I could not help myself. I've been trying to deny it, but been harboring a crush for a few months. So, I decided to ask him for help/advice about a personal issue relating to the group we're a part of. I sent him a message on facebook, and he agreed to speak with me sometime after a group meeting, letting me know he was "always free to talk".
Well, last week I had planned on speaking to him, but my car broke down and I had to get a ride home with another friend since I didn't want to walk home by myself at night. He seemed to be waiting for me, so I sent him a message after getting home to apologize in case he was waiting. He responding by telling me I should never have to feel like I need to apologize, and that he was instead waiting to speak with our professor who leads the group. But, he also said that he would gladly walk me home any time I needed (he gave me his number, too).
Okay...between the jacket, the number, and the offers to walk home, my first instinct is to say he likes me. But he's also really nice to everyone, so I'm kinda confused.
Thoughts?
