Is Howard Stern as funny as he was before he went to Satellite radio?

I love Howard Stern, but think he was at his best around the time his Private Parts movie came out. His live coverage of the tragedy of 9/11 was superb- But I think Jackie's departure and Howard's divorce somehow affected the quality of his show- and once Howard left for Satellite radio, he lost me. Is Howard's show the best it's ever been, or are his glory days behind him?

Beauty and comedy are in the eye of the beholder. But I agree with you. It's much more contrived. Mostly because he has so much time to fill now and the excitement of the FCC glaring at him has faded.
