Is Internet Explorer 8 still in the Release Candidate 1 stage or has it progressed?

I am planning to install IE8. Now, is IE8 still RC1 or is it on its final release? I'll check Wikipedia, but STILL leave this question alone. Those guys deserve points for answering this.

Final release my friend. Still extremely buggy though, i'll stick with Firefox.
