It seems to fit some of the biblical specifications and it does have occult symbolism on it... could the paper money we use today be a stepping stone for a world monetary system that will be the mark of the beast?
Please, I'm sick of the seventh day adventist's theory. I love you guys but the entire population will never be forced to go to church on Sunday, and when they don't they will still be able to go down to mcdonalds and buy themselves a happy meal or even a car and a house.
It is an absurd example of reading deeply between the lines at the imaginary text within.
You can't take the mark of the beast and still go to heaven, which every S.D.A. I've spoken to seems not to realize.

Okay. First,the mark is on the right hand or forehead. Not exactly something that you can do with money. However, you can not buy or sell without the mark. So... many believe that the mark of the beast may be the RFID chip. How could that be forced?
Many nations, including China are wanting to drop the US dollar as standard. They want to create a new system. If you refuse this mark of the beast, you will not be able to buy or sell.

It has been reported that those who have had the RFID injected have had problems if/when it breaks. Pets have been reported to have cancerous tumors grow around this chip.

Rev 16:2 ...a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast ...

I believe a microchip implanted under the skin of the right hand or in the forehead to be a mark of the beast, its described in the Revelations, A mark implanted so that no man may buy or trade without it. But yeah I guess FIAT currency could also. I think that just helps make us into a one nation world also prophesied in Revelations.

Many people believe the mark of the beast refers to the snake's conforming to the Earth and things in the Earth. We become the things we focus upon. If we conform ourselves to the standards of the world it leaves a mark on us. There are other marks mentioned in the Bible . One mark is upon the foreheads of those who cry and sigh for Jerusalem and they were to be protected by this mark.
A lot of people do not think this was or is a literal mark on their heads but rather a mark upon their thoughts or head.
Yeah, I know this is too much metaphor when it is so much more fun to go for the actual tattoos or microchip.
It makes for less drama if the mark of the beast is the mark of man who refuses to rise above his or her animal nature. We are told that our minds are to renewed by meditating on God's word. Does this mean the written word in the Bible of the Word of God who was Jesus? I say it is Jesus and not the scriptures.

No. Revelation wasn't doomsday prophesy. It was disguised as apocalyptic literature because under Nero and Caligula the Christians actually were persecuted. It was actually more of a "don't worry, these guys will get what's coming to them" letter. Only if you wrote that in plain greek "these guys" would murder you.

I personally point to the peace sign, a.k.a. nero's cross. Nero said that if the Christian faith was destroyed then there would be peace on earth. Sounds like... Anti-Christ. To this day people wear it on their wrists and such, all over really... Tatoos on their ankles...

to have a understanding to what the "mark" actually is, you must have an understanding as to who the "anti christ" is, first regarding the "mark"

from the converts cathechism pg. 50: Q: which day is the Sabbath day? A: Saturday is the Sabbath day. Q: why do we observe Sun day? A: because the church changed the day from Satruday to Sunday.

May 31, 1998 John Paul II issued an Apostalic Letter named Dies Domini "The Lords Day"
section 67 (yeah it's long) says: Christians will "naturally strive to ensure the civil legislation respects their duty to keep sunday - holy."

now for the 8 identification points the "anti christ" must have

1)the red Dragon of Rev. 12 gives the beast her authority, power and location (church recv'd in 476 AD)
2)the beast rules for 42 months (1260 Literal Years) 1 day = 1 yr. in prophecy
3) she has power all over the world (sure does)
4) the beast receives a deadly wound(French Revolution 1798, they kidnapped the pope and claimed atheism, which stripped them of their religious and political power)
5) the deadly wound is healed (Italy gives back to the church the Vatican as a separate nation
6) the beast speaks Great Blaspheme against God( very apparent when they took authority away from God on so many levels)
7)the beast is a pursecuting power (Inquisition, reformation etc)
8) the number of the beast is 666 (in all ancient languages their alphabets have numerical value i.e. Greek, Hebrew etc, if you add up the letter of the "title" on the papal tiara worn by these popes, it equals 666....


so take from this what you will...keep your eyes open for their upcoming "sun day law" for they shall impose and enforce it on God's Children, this is their MARK, the mark of the Beast/satan should you be foolish enough to accept and obey them .God Bless and Keep You

You raise a good question.

Money is somewhat the mark of the beast in itself - it has led to almost all negativity in man's past.

As to if it literally holds the mark of the beast, that's for theorists/researchers to conclude
