Is it a sin for a married celebrity to play gay/lesbian?

There's some actors and actresses (who are married and straight) that play characters either gay or lesbian. Some say that they do it for the money. Is it a sin for these married celebrities to play characters in these lifestyles? (Not being mean, just want to know).
 
Its their job to play characters you find in real life and portray them honestly FOR THE MONEY
 
By definition the job of an actor is to pretend to be someone he or she is not. The concept of sin doesn't enter in to it By the way we gay folk don't have lifestyles we have actual lives

NO..acting is there job. It does not mean they can not play certain roles. If that where the case almost no actors today would have a job.

People don't give a crap what's a "sin" anymore, but you ignorant, narrow-minded Christians.

That's complete bullshit anyway..it's called "acting" for a reason.

Sin? Is that a Christian concept? If it is - then the answer is no. Do you know why? Because Christianity is flawed and there isn't actually a god... I know that hurts right now but you'll get over it - like you did with Santa and the Tooth fairy.

Being gay is not a crime agianst any god.

Acting as a gay character is not a crime agianst any god.

If you mean is it considered a sin in Christianity then it depends on which Chistian denomination it is. It seems likley that strict cathiolics and stict evangelists would be.

But it doesn't matter what they think- god or no god, homosexuality is never a sin.
 
Sin may be what you think we are good at here in LGBT, but judgement about what is a sin is really more of a religion thing.
 
I don't think they do it for the money since they already have millions of dollars. Those people are confusing that with "gay for pay" (straight guys that get paid around $3,000 for 20min. of gay sex).

There was a time when playing a gay role would have been seen as a career killer. But these days that doesn't seem to be as large an issue. These actors artistic choices are a needed reminder for the general public that it really is okay to be (or in the case of these actors, play) gay.
