beliefs are lies? If you are a believer, do you believe that all others who don't see it as you do are deceived, lost, liars, less than you, destined for eternal punishment?

Not necessarily deceived, but sometimes (example: those guys that put on white sneakers and drown themselves). Almost never liars, but on occasion. Less than me - NEVER. I am as low as every other in mankind. Destined for punishment? I don't believe in predestination - but sometimes on their way to eternity separate from God where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth.

Is it arrogant to believe in being THE truth? No. It's not arrogance to believe that 2+2=4 because you know it is. It's not arrogance either to believe that 2+2=5 because even if you're wrong, you whole heartedly believe you can prove yourself right. Arrogance is a state of piety. Believing yourself "better" than others. Just because you have the right answer to a question, doesn't mean you have to treat others as stupid or "less than"
