is it bad if my hamster sleeps at night?

Ok so i know hamsters are nocturnal and mine goes to bed around 7 am and wakes up around 9 the first few days we had him. I also know that some hamsters get sick within a few days after having them. now he's starting to sleep at night the past couple days. is this bad? he looks fine but i want to know if there's something possibly wrong with him so i can catch it in time.
