Is it bad to have ppl laugh at you instead of your jokes?

I tend to tell immature jokes at times and that makes me look stupid. Even though it's funny, I'm starting to get the feeling that they are not laughing at my jokes, they're just laughing at me. Is it so bad to make fun of yourself as a sacrifice for a good laugh?

They're laughing AT you, not WITH you.
 
it depends who it is. if it is your friends then it is ok but if it is someone who doesnt like you then it isnt a good thing. but it shouldn't matter that much becuase you are who you are
 
Little Johnny is 5 this year. Last summer, he took a shower together with
his cousin sister who was about his age. Half way through, he sudden ran out
and went to the kitchen asking his mom, "Mom, why do I have this and my
cousin sister don't?" His mom was buzy and don't felt like answering this
kind of long and complicated question so simply said, "Well, that is an adult
thing to ask. You will understand when you grow up." Little Johnny asked, "But mom, how do I get an adult thing so little?"
 
No cause that's kinda like me but i don't care, that's just who i am
 
If they're stoned they're laughing at everything and eating all your food. Provide them with those chocolate fiber bars, and they will fart like paranormal activity afterwards.
