I know it probably makes not much difference but I'd like to know anyway. Would my internet browsers (i.e. Chrome & Firefox) run faster with windows running in the background if it was on a different drive or the same drive? and visa versa?

I always use the same drive it keeps things simple I dont think it would make that much of a difference anyway

Best to install your primary programs like that on your main drive. You probably won't see a difference either way, but it is just good practice. Your second drive is better used as storage.
