another dealer? I'm looking for a used 2004-2006 Model Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and I'm not sure if I should go to a Chevy dealer or another one for example a Ford dealer.
 
It may not matter.
The price will be the same whether it's sold by a Chevy or a Ford dealer.
There are 3 possible reasons for looking at a Chevy dealer. The former owner may have liked like his Chevy, so he traded it in on a newer model at the same dealer. The Chevy salesman probably knows Chevy's better that a Ford salesman. The Chevy mechanics probably know Chevys better than a Ford mechanic.
 
Another dealer usually, seeing as how your getting a 04-06 model you should look into both carmax as well as other places like that.

Also, depending on whether or not your tech/car savey at all you could check craigslist, people sell for real good prices on there time to time.

it just depends on the condition of the truck...i dont think its going to matter where u buy the used chevy truck, i would check a chevy dealer first tho, its much more likely they would know how the truck works and its flaws and benifits...so go to a chevy dealership i guess
