Is it fair to say that the majority of the Lesbian community are hypocrites?

I've heard time and time again that many lesbian women refuse to date bisexual women because they do not like the fact that they have been with men.

It goes without saying that lesbians seek to be judged on other aspects of themselves that go beyond their sexuality. That their sexuality not define who they are or what type of person they are (good, bad etc.).

In your opinion, does this make the majority of the lesbian community hypocrites for being judgemental of someone based on nothing more than sexuality?
I am not excluding gay men from this, I am simply asking a question i am all too familiar with
err....im actually not hurt, i just thought i'd pose a question that required opinions and some actual though.

Yes, it does make them hypocrites.

But this is true for many gay people. They seek equality and to be accepted yet they strive to make themselves different by having gay pride parades or whatever.

It's not fair to say that just Lesbians are hypocrites...it's gay men too.

I don't think that it's majority. I was a bisexual for a while, before I was a lesbian, and this might not be everybody, but I honestly dealt with more and dealing with ignorant opinions from men and women. There were some out there who accepted me for who I was and then again I wasn't some of their " preferences" you might say. Or they didn't want me because I might have been with a man. I blocked them out, do not feed into that, or you will be hurt. I see that you're hurt right now but that gives you no right to punish a whole population down, because of your struggles. Inside the lesbian community there are struggles with femme butch and more and labels. I understand the bisexuality factor because ive been through it. There are lesbians out there who will accept you and not look at your orientation.

Edit: Establishing a false assumption of a virtue has to come from a unacknowledment, stuff just doesn't come from the middle of nowhere. Whether it's hurt or not.

Gay men are guilty of the same thing. The fact is that bisexuals in general are discriminated against, mainly because they can "pass" as heterosexual and thus are felt to be willing to get all the benefits of homosexual relationships without any of the social drawbacks. Gay men are just as guilty of this as lesbian women are.
