Is it free to receive text with t-mobile?

I do not have a texting plan. I know it costs .15 to send a message, but does it cost to receive?
 
yea the same amount. so 15 cents. i suggest getting unlimited(14.99 a month) if you are a big texter. it will save you a lot of money in the long run!!
