Is it illegal to cut a dead tree on the bike trail?

A oak tree fell on the bike trail close to me house. I am assuming it is on city property. I have a chain saw an all the appropriate equipment. Would I be breaking any laws by cutting it up and wheel burrowing it away?

In a once free America , of course , you would be doing a good thing and collect some fire wood for yourself. at the same time.

But in the age of " public employees" the democrat parasites that work for government [ like Kituyu ] at all levels will try and screw you if you cut " their" tree without "their" permission.

because of course , they must first send out a supervisor to like at at it .

then as he said , send out the proper truck and tax paid authorized workers to cut it.

hahahaha , lib/democrats ,, they are ruining America.

I would call the department of Parks and Recreation before cutting anything on city property.
They may let you cut it up if you ask.

not your land or property then for you to do it and take the wood would be illegal

who ever the land belongs to the city then contact them explain its over the path and they will sent down a truck and men authorised to remove it.
