is it illegal to put a telus sim card into a rogers phone?

I have been using a Blackberry which is a rogers phone (it says rogers at the bottom) so i have my telus sim card in it, and it works, but im having problems with the battery and i want to take it in to get it checked, but is it illegal? and i covered the part where it says rogers with black nail polish so will they still be able to tell?

any answers will be appreciated!:)

no it's not illegal,

sometime the phone will be locked and it won't work with other sims but that doesn't seem to be the case here, there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to get it fixed =)
