pc? someone told me i could get into trouble for downloading music for free through ares.is this true?

yes...you could get into a lot of trouble if you download copyrighted music (and the government finds out)!

Its been depated. P2P isn't neccessarily legal, but you can't get arrested for download a song thus far. BUT, you can be arrested for UPLOADING a new song, etc.

I dont know how true this is, but I was told that you get in trouble for sharing music with others. If you just download, it should be fine. Just disable the sharing option.
