Is it impossible to put free ringtones on virgin mobile Rumor touch?

I have tried so many websites and i even tried to convert files to 3g2. and when i put it on the phone i still couldn't assign it as a ringtone..is it completely impossible to put free ringtones on this phone? and i already know Freeringtonesonline.net and Ventones DO NOT work for this phone. Thanks :)
 
You can assign them if its 3g2. when you select the 3g2 tone and click "more" you WILL NOT see the options to assign it. The trick is to click "more" before clicking on the 3g2 tone. So go to your File Manager and when you see the 3g2 file click more>assign then click on the tone. Never click it then select more cause you can't assign it like that. Hope that made sense. I have this phone and use 3g2 tones all the time
