with off- color statements? People are also commenting on it calling me names. I have asked the site repeatedly to take it down because it is humiliating and untrue. I'm wondering if there is some legalities I could stop them with.

Anybody can post photos that they own or have a license for. Anybody can make 'off color' statements. Where is becomes legal issue is if they make statements of FACT (not opinion), that are incorrect, that they know are incorrect, that they post maliciously, and that cause actual damage to you. Then it becomes libel and you can sue.

It is VERY hard to win a libel lawsuit because of all the reasons above, but you can try.

Sue them!! Only if you can prove everything is false, or at least make it seem that way. Go all out, tell them your mental health suffered and you became suicidal. I hate those f*cking sites. They are the work of evil people. Throw the book at them friend, and make sure it hurts.

Are you a celebrity? If not, then no, it is not protected speech and you can sue them.

Generally a cease and desist letter from a lawyer is sufficient.
