You are probably out of luck on this one - but if you are traveling out of state maybe you could come up with a different claim. Do you get paid overtime? What state are you in?
 
...of state and share a room? I have a bad back but my employer forced me to sleep on the hotel floor for 5 days. Ha wanted to cut back on costs so he shared a room with another vendor but I had to get the floor. I only slept about 3 hours a night and woke up with back pain each day. I could go on with so much more stuff this employer does but this is the real question.
 
Forget all the legal headaches. If he treats you that bad, the best payback would be to get another job and quit with no 2 week notice.
