I mean, if you have 50+ cd collection that you want to convert to digital in the highest quality, do you have to go trough the trouble of ripping each and everyone or can you download them? (providing you download the exact same version of the cd that you own)

At first it would seem it is legal, since the information you are aquiring is the same information you've already payed for, on the other end, the person wish made the torrent is doing something ilegal.
